Bali vaccination campaign launched from January 14 2021 at the Bali Mandara Hospital with Bali governor as first Balinese injected with the vacine after the Indonesian President Jokowi was vaccinated 24 hours earlier 0n January 14 th 2021.

The Head of the Bali Provincial Health Office, Ketut Suarjaya announced  the implementation schedule in accordance with directions from the Central Government. Bali itself has received 51,000 Sinovac COVID-19 vaccines. The first person to vaccinated in Bali  wil be the Governor of Bali , before the Bali Police Chief,  Chairman of the Bali District Court, director Sanglah General Hospital  and all doctors and medical personnel in Bali after the officials and health workers are vaccinated  the general public who meet the requirements will be next.

No punishment for vaccination refusal

According the Bali Provincial Health Office, Ketut Suarjaya. There are no fines for people who do not want to be vaccinated.

The Member of Commission IX of the Indonesian House of Representatives of the PDI-P Faction (PDIP) Ribka Tjiptaning firmly refuses to be vaccinated against Covid-19.

She affirmation it directly during the DPR Commission IX working meeting with Health Minister Budi Gunadi Sadikin on Tuesday (12/11/2021). According to Ribka, no one has yet been able to confirm the safety of the Covid-19 Sinovac vaccine from a Chinese company .

Bali Province  received first 31.000 Sinovac vaccines on Tuesday (5/1/2021) which was sent by truck. then 20 thousand more on Thursday (07/01/2021) at Denpasar Airport to have a  total  51.000 vaccins present in Bali at present.
