Chen is serving a life sentence for drug trafficking after being jailed as part of the infamous Bali Nine. Brendon Luke Johnson was jailed for selling cocaine in Bali and Robert Andrew Fiddes Ellis was locked up for 15 years for serious child sex crimes. The jail is dealing with a serious outbreak of Covid-19, with as many as 84 men and 22 females testing positive out of the 1,400 person population. Kerobokan prison warden Yulius Sahruzah said the virus was detected inside prison walls last week. Initially, we suspected that there was coronavirus in the jail because of complaints of inmates with fever, shortness of breath and some who had lost their sense of taste and smell,’ he said. We then carried out a rapid testing last week.
