Nusa Penida starts promotion campaign to increase their visitors up to 2 million.

Now the Nusa Penida area has been  transformed into the golden triangle of Bali tourism. the Klungkung Tourism Office received 343,979 tourist arrivals during 2018.

 While tPAD [ regional revenue ] target from the tourism sector brings in Rp 3 billion when  253,472 people visited Nusa Penida.

For the PAD  the realization of Rp. 2.8 billion is more then realistic by Rp. 94.34 percent, ”explained Klungkung Tourism Head, I Nengah Sukasta.

According to him the failure to reach the number of visits in 2018 was greatly influenced by the eruption of Mount Agung which made tourists think of visiting Klungkung in particular.

Although the target in 2018 has not been achieved, the Klungkung Tourism Office has set a high target for both the number of visits and PAD in 2019.

The target of visits in 2019 reaches 543,979 people. While the PAD target is more than Rp 7 billion.

"Therefore, we will do promotions through festivals in 2019 such as the Nusa Penida Festival and Festival.

Hopefully in 2019 there will be no obstacles so we are optimistic that the target can be achieved. We still offer Nusa Penida as a tourist attraction.
